Solar Panels Are The Future Of Energy

Improved Essays
Solar panels are the future of energy. Fossil fuels are in limited supply and until now, it was thought nothing could replace them. Our only hope for future energy relies on a renewable energy source that is both reliable and cheap. For the answer we look to photovoltaic energy (energy from the sun). One of the chief producers of photovoltaic energy is the solar panel. Each new generation of solar panels produces more energy cheaper than the previous making it a viable solution to energy problems in poor rural areas as well. Solar panel’s low cost and reliability enable those living outside major urban areas of a developing country to still have a bright light when it gets dark or when the power grid goes down. Its technical features reinforce …show more content…
400 million people in India go without electricity and are less productive as a result. The candles and lanterns they use are damaging to their animals and dirty the walls with soot. With solar power hundreds of millions of people would gain access to the power and most importantly light they need to remain active when the power grid shuts down (which occurs often) or just simply when it gets dark. The long-term effect of solar panels would be a world that would never fear a loss of a supply of power and global warming, because solar panels do not produce CO2 like fossil fuels. First the developing countries will fully assimilate solar panels into their power sources and soon after that more developed countries will follow, with the end result being a completely green planet. The money to be made is also of interest to rural citizens, as they would receive free electricity and actually be able to sell their remaining electricity. Poor rural citizens can also receive cheap energy, as the solar panel prices are going down to where people can afford them, and companies are willing to provide energy to users for roughly $2 a month as long as they can keep and sell the remaining energy produced. Solar panels are not only becoming cheaper, but they are also producing cheaper energy, solar energy is a renewable resource making it much cheaper than fossil fuels. There is a downside though; in order to use …show more content…
Millions of citizens are affected by solar panels; its technological features provide data used to keep a high efficiency and beat back global warming without consequences. The world will eventually submit to the future of energy and join the solar revolution, making a planet that benefits everyone. Global warming and poverty will lessen and energy will become cheap. Solar panels are the future and will eventually take the role of fossil fuels unless the sun

They have many similarities and differences, but solar power is is still a better source. Both Nuclear and Solar are power sources for humans, but solar power is more convenient that nuclear. There is a cost to build both nuclear power plants and solar power farms, but solar power plants cost a lot more. However, the cost of the fuel for nuclear power (uranium) is expensive while the cost of the fuel for solar power is free. Both solar power and nuclear…

This makes investments in solar power much more appealing due to low risk and quick rewards. Another advantage solar facilities have over oil and gas pipelines or nuclear facilities is that they are much less vulnerable to terrorist attacks. Solar energy, like all renewable energy resources, does not produce hazardous wastes and are geographically dispersed. Solar energy also has a great outlook in the future as costs of Photorvoltaic systems, also called solar cells, are declining in price by about five percent a year while the efficiency of these cells improve (Wright and Boorse 401). As a final note, the solar energy resource is much more abundant than the limited fossil and nuclear fuel resources.…

Solar energy is renewable source, which means we can never run out of the sunshine. Due to which, utilizing energy from the natural renewable sources like the sun, dependence on sources such as oil and coal that are harmful to environment can be decreased. As shown in figure 2, the solar energy is a renewable energy source. Although, energy that is produced from other sources like coal and natural gas are expensive as well as they are not renewable. Moreover, people have been able to capture some of the sun’s energy that falls to earth and convert it into usable power for a variety of practical uses such as for cooking, heating, and to power everyday appliances.…

Solar energy also can sometime produce more energy that it uses, making it cheaper for people who use solar energy by saving 100 dollars every month. It can also be used many different ways. For example, it can give electricity to places that don’t usually get electricity like powering satellites, villages were a power grids are not available. Solar panels are also silent when converting solar radiation into energy, which some may prefer then other devices that make energy.…

An economic benefit that comes with wind power for Australia, is that it can revitalise rural economies by providing a new type of income to farmers as wind turbines are installed, land owners would largely profit in property tax. As a source of clean energy and alternative to coal, wind plants in Western Australia have generates about $1 million per year in property tax revenue, as Julia Gillard said in 2011, “wind power will be a vital component in reaching our renewable energy and economic targets.” However, turbines can only produce electricity only when the wind blows, there this variability may effect the efficiency of power supply for domestic users. Furthermore, wind farms can also problem to the health of neighbouring communities, as it causes a flickering effect from rotating wind turbine blades, which can in turn…

One of the finest blessings of solar energy is that humans are by no means going to run out of this large electricity aid even for millions of years. That is not something we possibly can say for oil, coal, petroleum, and different fossil fuels that humans have been dependent on for thousands of years. If people need to save the earth from raising carbon-emission gases, pollutants of water, and even global warming, they ought to change the electricity sources they use at present. Seeking more alternative power resources can preserve the surroundings we are residing in, and significantly decrease our electric payments in the end. Using this form of energy that doesn 't disturb the balance of energy flow inside the nature might be a top notch…
