In baseball if you were to have a field that was 210 feet down the line such as in softball, MLB players would smash the ball out of there all the time. Therefore they would have a truly easy time fielding the ball from the field being especially small. If some can throw a baseball at over ninety mph they would be able to throw even faster and they would be able to throw people out anywhere. A huge concept too would be if the bases were sixty feet apart just about anyone could steal a base. Yet, if the catcher being of major league ability could throw out fast runners with a bigger diamond he could probably do that with about anyone running on a softball field. The pitchers would be able to throw much faster than before, most if not all would reach over one hundred mph. The only down fall of that would be the pitchers wouldn't have as much movement as before with the pitchers mound being farther back. With the fact that throwing over 100 mph and being this close since softball mounds are closer than baseball, no one would even be able to react to how fast some pitchers would be able to throw the ball.
