I have a few activity updates to add to my file. At the beginning of March, two of my classmates and I presented our research on the effects of Sodium Selenite exposure on the activity and feeding behavior of the Allegheny Crayfish at the 13th Annual Mid-Atlantic Undergraduate Research Conference. This conference was held at West Virginia Wesleyan College and we presented along with ten other groups in the Mathematics and Natural Science category. My team was honored to place first in this category at the conference.Also, this weekend WVWC held an awards banquet where I received Outstanding Senior International Studies Student, Outstanding Senior Biology Student, and a Senior Academic and Leadership Award.
