Sodapop Monologue

It had been 3 hours, since Ponyboy left to go see that movie. He still hadn't shown up. As minutes passed I could feel myself becoming angry. I sat down opened up the newspaper and read. Until, I heard the door close.” Finally your home, you know how late you are!” I yelled as a train’s horn.
“I know but..” Ponyboy tried to state.
“ Why you late boy.” I asked, wanting it to be a good reason.
“ I feel asleep at the lot with Johnny.” Ponyboy stated with a nervous, unsure tone. With that Statement, I immediately raised my hand. All Ponyboy, Sodapop, and I heard was a loud smack sound. Ponyboy’s eyes started to tear up, I know I did something terrible. Just then Ponyboy ran as fast as he could, leaving me and Sodapop in shock.”Sodapop I didn’t mean to.” I said very upset at myself.”

As days had passed the more Sodapop and I got worried. It had been almost a week since Ponyboy left. We asked Dallas if he seen him, but there was no luck at all. By the time we got home it was pitch black, dark outside. The more we couldn’t find him. The more we started to give up finding our little brother. “Where are you pony.” I said upset and with a deep, long sigh. The sun was sparkling and shiny. I went outside to get the daily newspaper. When I heard Two-bit’s voice screaming out that Ponyboy was back
“Ponyboy he’s back, he’s at the hospital right now.” Two-bit said with heavy breathing. I immediately screamed in the house, letting Sodapop know the good news. Once Sodapop came out we ran down to the hospital. Only to find Ponyboy standing there looking for us. My eyes started to water up as I saw my missing, little brother. “Ponyboy!” Sodapop yelled as he pulled ponyboy into a hug. I slowly walked up to them and hugged them tightly.
“We missed you, Ponyboy.” I said as a tear ran down my face. From that day onward I never hitted Ponyboy
