The movie is very different from the book because sometimes in the book they include more details than in the movie. In the movies they spend a lot of time filming everything and sometimes one scene takes all day to film. In the book is something similar but not too much because in the book they take time to write everything and then to convert it into a book but what do you think. Something that they have in common is that they are written by the same author and it take place in the same year, but this is not always because sometimes they film the movie years after the book. One of his personality traits is thoughtless he has a rough pass he is the youngest of all the guys . The second character that I want to write about is Darry he is 20 he is the father figure he is protective and very smart he lost his parents and he was left in charge also he is the oldest. The 3 one is Soda he is 16 almost 17 he is wild and like most of them he lost his parents too. There are more characters to talk about, but I pick this 3 because they are brave some of them make bad decisions in their life, but they are still brave some of the guys save the kids from the burning church and that made them heroes even if their make a lot of bad decisions. The book was written in 1965 in Tulsa, Ok and the movie was made in 1983 so probably the movie and how the things look like are different than in how in the book explain them. The movie take longer than the book in the book also you can use your imagination and imagine how the things look like how do the characters look like etc. The movies always cost more money than the book does because you have to pay for everything that you want to use and pay to the people that help to make the movie.
