Lately people have been drinking more soda and juice. That is one of the leading causes for tooth decay. Soda reacts with bacteria in your mouth to create acids but not only regular soda, also diet. When drinking soda to avoid getting tooth decay, you should drink with a straw, drink a lot of water, and don’t drink it before you go to bed. There have been many experiments to test this. Soda Can decay your teeth. When you drink soda the sugar builds layers and wears down the hard stuff on the outside of the tooth called enamel. Then your teeth can rot and become black. The thing that really attacks your teeth is the sugar. But that isn't the only thing that attacks your teeth. The acids in soda lower the Ph level in saliva which lets bacteria
