The one area over the years which I have the most problems in my English class is creative writing. For instance, our writing assignment for the Christmas holiday in the fourth grade was to create a famous person from an inanimate object and to give him a backstory. As I sat in my room pondering, I saw a sock. I immediately had an inspiration to create Socky Balboa, a famous boxer who was made of a sock. I based my story on the story of Rocky Balboa. After much hard work I was certain that I had created a great story, but Mrs. Anne, my English teacher, returned my paper with a lousy C. Filled with sadness, I asked her why she gave me a bad grade, and she replied that it was unoriginal, for it was too close to the true story of
