Sociologist Dr. Larry Heck: The Definition Of Role

As defined by the great well known sociologist Dr. Larry Heck, the definition for role is quite simple. It states that it is a pattern of behavior, rights and duties associated with a position in a group. We all do play a singular role in everyday life, and all of us whether we know it or not, play multiple roles. Multiple roles are defined that it is the situation of having more than one role, such as being a student, an employee, a mother, etc. The best way I would define it is the way of life we all live, having more than one thing to do and take care of.
