The Sociological Perspective of the Democratic and Republican Debate The Democratic Party and the Republican Party are two different political groups with different sociological perspectives. During this time of year, the people vote for the Democratic and Republican candidates for presidency. Although part of the same group, these candidates differ in perspective amongst themselves. During the recent Democratic debate, Capitalism, a sociological theory, was explored by candidates Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Sanders is against Capitalism stating that he believes in a society where all people do well, not just the billionaires. Clinton is for Capitalism stating that it would be a mistake
