In some situations it is better to think of outside of the box and choose a different route to take than the one that is more comfortable. Being creative and thinking of new ways/reasons to do something can strengthen the social imagination and make an experience have a different, and possibly better, outcome than one expected. Allowing the mind to explore new ideas and getting past the original conclusion that their mind may jump to will not only benefit themselves but also benefit the way that they think about something in the future.
