Hello Ashley, I agree sociogram is a great tool to use when gathering pertinent information containing to patient health history. Moreover, these are tools we use on the daily basis, whether it's on paper, visual representation and etc. I mention in my post, that a nurse, information on a sociogram is important in identifying a conflict and measuring the strength of existing relationship bonds. As such, the nurse can easily find the Sociometry of a social space. It also aids the nurses to create pathways for acceptance of certain individuals in society. You commented on, health care professional such as Social workers, sociogram can be extremely helpful recognizing life stresses and the social dynamic with family, I agree with this as well.
