Socioeconomic analysis of RZE Airport
1. Economy of the region
1.1 Entrepreneurship
Density of business entities on 1 km2 in Poland is very diverse. The Podkarpackie province is one of the regions with an average such indicator (8, 55 entities per km2).

Annually conducted study of the investment attractiveness of the regions indicates Podkarpackie’s weak positions among other regions. None of the economic dimensions was classified higher than average and some were marked even lower.
Podkarpackie fell into class of low investment attractiveness along with other 5 eastern provinces. Their position is an effect of long-term socio-economic processes from the past. Low intensity of urbanisation and industrialisation didn’t allow to develop crucial for foreign investment resources.
1.3 GDP
The monetary value of all the finished goods and services produced within a country's borders in a specific time period, though GDP is usually calculated on an annual basis. GDP is commonly used as an indicator of the economic health of a country, as well as to gauge a country's standard of living. As far as aviation industry is concerned, GDP will tell us whether people are likely to spend more in this area or not.
