The participants vary from gathering to gathering, as do the specific activities. In this current event, three individuals (later joined by two more), are participating in two different games. The main purpose of this activity is to play these games, with a secondary goal of exchanging information, and informing others of what the individuals participating have been up to in their daily lives. The group is expected to celebrate and enjoy themselves. Nothing being said or done is obligatory, nor is it related to what the individuals participate in on a daily basis, unless they so choose to make it about said daily activities. On the sofa from left to right is Stan, in a bluish green shirt, Victor in the center, and Lucy on the end. The two that come later are Austin and Beth. Even though the games are being played by the original three sitting on the sofa, the two new arrivals do no participate in the game, but are lively contributors to the social banter. The one game involves small pieces of paper with various symbols on them. These are held by the different players, and used in a particular order.
