Economics have an influence on what food choices we make. The price of some healthy foods compared to the options of unhealthy foods are different in prices. For example the healthier option of a frozen treat would be frozen yogurt and the unhealthy alternative would be ice cream. Ice- cream is 26cents per 100mL and frozen yogurt is 88cents per 100mL. The healthier option is dearer as these days more people are trying to be healthy and the frozen yogurt will make more money but if economic problems came into place ice- cream would be easier. Male and female bodies need different foods for different reasons. Females are commonly known for worrying about body weight and usually are likely to choose smaller meals to eat such as vegetables and fruit. While men usually eat foods to build up and maintain body strength, in this case the male gender would eat foods containing high amounts of protein and carbohydrates.
