Although texting makes it a lot easier to communicate with others that are far, it does have other effects on teens, like, texting before bed can reduce the amount of sleep that teens need to be awake throughout the day. Some teens feel anxiety, if they don't know what is happening with their social life, so they feel the need to check, even if it requires to wake up in the middle of the night to check what is going on social media. When a lot of stress is on one part of your body, it could come to a constant stress injury. This stress injury results in swelling or a serious tissue damage, depending on the what teens have. Although the injuries are normally happen when playing sports, a number of teens is suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome( it's where if your hands are in a certain position it start to effect your hands)or a disease, because of texting. To prevent these injuries happening, teens should take a break for 30 minutes, which can help overusing the fingers and thumb
