Society Revealed In Ayn Rand's Anthem

By the end of the story, Equality 7-2521 has changed his mind and become very critical of the leaders of his society, denouncing them in moral terms. Do you think he is correct to do so? Why or why not?
In the story Anthem, by Ayn Rand, Equality 7-2521 is growing away from the life he was brought up living like, now he’s starting to figure out what life really is. He is growing farther away from the morals he was taught as a young boy. Equality will meet a girl in the story and they will eventually move to the forest and live together.
Equality 7-2521 is being treated just like everyone else in his town. He does everything with them and is never separate from his “brothers.” (paragraph-8. Chapter-1) All the men and women are separated and can not come in contact with

All of their lives they were told they were nothing. The leaders of their homes and the people they work for always tell them that they are nothing and they never will be.
”We are nothing. Mankind is all. By the grace of our lives we are allowed our lives. We exist through, by and for our brothers who are the State. Amen.”(paragraph-14. Chapter-1)
They are not allowed much sleep at night. After a long day at work, they have much more things to do before bed. They work more than they sleep.
”We go to our beds and sleep, till the bell rings again.” (paragraph-32. Chapter-1)
When equality grew up and seen this one girl, he changed his mind about everything and he has now disappeared into the forest with her and is living happily ever after. The girl’s name was “The Golden One”. They actually talked to each other like normal people. He lived a good life when he moved into the forest and was living by his own rules instead of someone else’s.
