Despite your educations you can still land a job as a “low class” server just as Rosie did in “blue-collar brilliance” by Mike rose. It can be because the paychecks for these jobs are usually only enough to cover state and government taxes and may be enough to live alone. At this point you are living on tips. This type of work usually goes un noticed by the “high class people of society. Thus resulting on lower tips or bad attitudes. The people of the lower class will recognize these small things and tip a bit more generously.
