I am writing in reference to your job posting seeking a Recovery Specialist at the Sterling Community Center. With my strong background in social work and healthcare organizations, coupled with my exceptional skillset and qualifications, I believe I have exactly what it takes to seek a permanent, full-time position in social work.

I started my social work career as a volunteer in daytime activities with geriatric schizophrenic patients. My BSW substantiated my professional commitment and zeal to assist mentally challenged patients. During my undergraduate studies at University of Pittsburgh, I interned in an emergency room shadowing a clinical social worker and accompanied the EMTs on their shifts
