The study was for homebound seniors more report more comorbidity, more heinous self-reported wellbeing status, and more unmistakable impedance in activities daily of living (ADLs), more depressive markers and less social sponsorship among the homebound seniors. There are many factors of homebound seniors with many issues which results in seniors being homebound such as; declined health status, lack of social support, physical or mental impairments, and other health issues. Despite the fact that one may expect that homebound elderly admission more regrettable than non-homebound, there is little writing on longitudinal results of the homebound elderly. The age requirement for the study in order for participants to eligible was age sixty or older. The rundown of projects that was offered from the Burden organization which comprised of case management, money management, lawful and advantage help. In conjunction with MOW this is where these services could be applied in working with homebound seniors. A researcher coordinated with a caseworker to administer the baseline of evaluation. Which consisted of a questionnaire of demographics, medications, income just to mention a few. Followed by the measurement for depression using The Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS).
