Figuring out what to do in an ethical dilemma can tie the hands of students and employees. Our actions can come with different levels of consequences and for that reason we must take a practical approach when responding to those quandaries. For most, their individual moral and ethical codes drive their intuition to respond. For everyone, our actions tend to speak much louder than the words. My ethical dilemma has been ongoing. My now two year internship has allowed me to serve as an outreach coordinator. I have been enabled to build a level of comfort in my position and members of the board have been empowered to do the same. For much of my time the relationship among every trustee has been one of professional contact and interaction.

I want to fit in among those members who have extended me an invite and I want to continue to understand and build a cooperative partnership. Further, I want to remain just, so that I can continue to connect myself in Ohio Agricultural and build a stronger foundation for career success. On the contrary, I want to present myself in a fair and balanced manner and work for the greater good of the organization. I have no intuition to degrade others for the simple sake of doing so. I am certain that my boss and fellow trustees who gather see very little unethical behavior in their words and actions. A system of doing favors for people we know and value regardless of qualifications or need. In this instance, it has awarded scholarship money to recipients who unsuccessfully completed the basic requirements of the program. Worse yet, it has granted event contracts of substantial value to venues owned or operated by the same members who gather during secondary recap meetings. This therefore impacts our evaluation and decision making process when those in power give resources to members of their in-group. It consequently creates a favorable bias to those elected to hold up a more ethical practice in business
