My family tends to deplete energy. I love living next door to my family. However sometime it’s hard when my parents and sibling will come to the house regularly to visit or borrow something and if my parents need assistance to call someone, complete forms for them or buy something. They will normally ask me for assistance. This sometime can be stressful because my other sisters and brothers do not help out and I am normally the person that they ask for help. I have a strong relationship with my husband and my three children. Being a wife and mother is the most important thing in my life. I have a strong relationship with my children. I have twin boys who are 10 years old and a daughter who just turns 3. My husband and I are considered good …show more content…
This motivated me to want to have an education to have more knowledge with helping people. Working at Fresno County Department has allowed me to interact and communicate with a wide range of clients and colleagues. The experiences I have encountered by people of all cultures, backgrounds and personalities have taught me how to communicate effectively with others, verbally and nonverbally. It has also helped me build up my interpersonal skills, self- awareness and awareness of another; that will be beneficial to my success in school, work and life. I understand the importance of everyone’s different beliefs and values; therefore I am able to help improve their lives. I can also recognize the family’s experiences and emotions to assist their needs. I have a positive attitude, which will enhance my communication skill with clients. In additional to communication skill I also have the ability to listen and give advice. Working with family in needs can be stressful, however I am a hard worker and can work under pressure.
