A brief is simply a short document that explains to the court why you think you should win your case. It can be put together by you or your disability lawyer. The brief should include any new medical finding as well as other pertinent information. Be sure to submit your brief at least 10 days prior to your hearing.

Bring Witnesses
Ask family member, friends and coworkers who can attest to the effects of your condition to speak on your behalf at your hearing. You should bring one to two people with you to act as your witnesses.
