People define social responsibility in many different ways,the Cambridge Dictionary defines social responsibility as “The practice of producing goods and services in a way that is not harmful to society or the environment”. My definition of social responsibility would be the physical and ethical impact we have on society. The physical impact we have on society would be our occupation or role we play in society whether we are high,middle,or lower class .I define the ethical part of social responsibility as the impact we have on ourselves or even others. Do we speak up when we see something that is not right and stands up for what we believe in or do we simply say nothing?

Those teachers who put together the fundraiser showed a prime example of a way to be socially responsible in their workplace. It wasn’t written in their contracts they had to help students get school supplies but they did it anyway. That is one way to define social responsibility when you are not asked to do something to better society but you do anyway.Another example of social responsibility in the workplace would be when people who are trusted to protect and serve to go out every day and uphold the law instead of abolishing the law. I felt it was my job to be the voice for the voiceless. I believe in life their are two kinds of people in the world the people who fight and then the people who say nothing and since their are already enough people who sit down and do nothing I wanted to be a fighter.The portrayal of social responsibility I believe personally has changed for the better from the past to now I know others might disagree with me and argue that things were safer in the past than now.I do agree that society wasn’t as vicious but
