The instructional setting being discussed throughout will be a little, charter school in a rural area with a majority of the student-body being on free or reduced lunch, seventy-five percent of the classroom being Caucasian and the remainder being from the Hispanic culture. Students attend this school to obtain an education in a non-conventional way. They want to have more freedom to explore, create and experience learning than your typical public school education provides.
Social reconstruction main aims in education are to reconstruct a society. They believe their current society is failing and need to be reinvented. They want to eradicate the undesirable aspects of the current society. In the article, Social Reconstruction Ideology
