Social Problems: Gender Inequality

One of the many social problems we face today in our society is gender inequality. What is gender inequality? It is the difference in the status, power and prestige women and men have in groups, collectivities, and societies. Additionally, gender is built into the major organizations of society such as the economy, ideology, family and politics(Weinberg). In this paper I will explain the problems that society has struggled with because of gender inequality.
Firstly, I would like to address the most important problem of inequality which is in the workplace. Employment opportunities for men and women is one issue that shows ample amount inequality. Statistically,

Our Society has ignored the fact that it is wrong to treat males and females differently according to their status, power, and prestige. Because of this, our society will always be affected by gender inequality.
