A social networking site is a place where a person can form a profile and frame a personal network that links them to other people. The most popular sites for adults and teens now are Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat. Everyone can create their own page and share their information, pictures, and comments with other people, whether they already know or strangers from the sites. Nowadays, we see most of the teenagers turn to use these sites to contact with other friends. According to Impact of Social Media, 73% of teenagers are using social networking sites (n.d., p.1). They like to use these sites because they can keep in touch with their friends and families. People who use the social networking sites do not concern about the distances between them. They can communicate with their friends or classmates from the older school or neighborhood. For instance, students who study outside their countries and use these sites to communicate with their families and friends. According to Facebook & your privacy, it is considerable that the websites help finding the old peers (2012). They can search on these sites for their friends who are living far away from them. They also can exchange their opinions or share their interests like some films or famous people. One Direction band is an example of the famous singers that teenagers like to discuss about them. Also, they feel free to talk through these online sites, and it can make the relationships between teens and their friend or family stronger. They can learn about the whole world through these sites like they can learn about the other cultures. They can see what is going on the countries and what the news is. Twitter is the best example of the sites where people can get the world’s news briskly. As reported in Impact of Social Media, teenagers consider the social networking sites as a main source to get information and recommendation (n.d., p.1). They also can recover from illness by looking on Facebook or Twitter and get some advice from people who have the experience or from the doctors. For Example, they can find a prescription for a clod, fever, cough, or throat posted in a Facebook or Twitter, and a table food diet too. There are 31% of teenagers use the social networking sites to get advice for their health care, diet, and agility (“Impact,” n.d., p.1). The most important thing is that adults and teenagers care about their agility so they use these sites to get the information and the advice about how to maintain their agility. They can see some exercises on YouTube videos and learn from them. There are also some posts on Facebook and Twitter that have some recommendation on agility.
