Putting out some information that are very dangerous. Most sites are not trusted. Anyone can be on there and might not know who’s out there. Younger kids like at the age of eight get on the active sites like Facebook but they don 't know what to post and not to post over two million people die from putting out house information or anything secret information that are not meant to be posted. According to (CNN) they say "250 million people use Facebook from their phones”. Nowadays Facebook is becoming one of the largest social media site in the world and very dangerous, and also is very addictive. According to the gcsu.edu says “even though Facebook minimum age requirements users under age of 10".Many people use internet about 10 hours a …show more content…
Some sites are not even protected or even safe for anyone. They have a show called “Catfish” effects cyberbullying according to all the research all of them says they have some type of cons. Many teens like using internet, not just for Facebook for games and online texting. “The study also reported that 32 % of the people in the survey either were texting or were on social media sites instead of communicating with each other during family gatherings” meaning people/teens like being on there phones either texting or using the internet they don’t like spending time with their parents or their family members. Most people say “it connects people in a much faster and efficient way than ever before” but they also don’t understand the negativities that come along with it. For example Social Networks can lead to Cyber bullying & Cyber stalking and this can hurt people mentally and physically. As a typical teenager they get happy when they see someone new talking to them thru Facebook or any other social Network. They have no idea who this person is, never seen them, or anything else. . Over 50% of people learn about breaking news on social media. Students with access to the Internet report that they use social networking sites to discuss educational topics. Teens use social media in a good way. Most of them use the internet for school wise. College students write essays and therefor they use the internet for their research. Social networks are not bad because there are students that use them for education use. A lot of the school work teens do is not on paper it is probably going to be online. Social network may be bad for some reasons, but it is also good it connect families all across America and outside of the states. The internet can also be used to find a long lost friend or cousin. The internet can be bad or teens, students and adults can make it a positive thing it all depends on your intentions. Even though there are some positives to social media, there are many cons to social networking websites for example, predators or sex offenders, cyberbullying, and social network can causes many health problems.
