Social Narrative

Elizabeth lives alone in a senior citizen apartment complex which she moved into three years ago. Elizabeth has been very active throughout her life as she worked at the library for 45 years and volunteered regularly for another 10 years post retirement. Additionally, Elizabeth is a regular attendee at her church.

Of late, Elizabeth has felt less included to be socially active, does not feel like attending church, and spends increasing more time at home alone despite experiencing feelings of loneliness. Elizabeth sees her daughter on a weekly basis, and wishes she could see her more frequently, but understand that her daughter is busy with her work and family obligations.
