People are categorized based off of what they decide to do for living. Someone could have an AA degree in anything and work for Walmart for the rest of their life. That AA doesn’t determine who you are. It only show you passed with some college education. Another example would be my father and how he got to where he is at now. At the age of twenty was when he first had me and promised himself that I was going to live in a better environment and better education did he ever did. To achieve this he believed joining the military was the best solution to this. After joining the reserve he got a good job as a correctional officer. Doing this he achieved his American dream in giving me what’s best for me rather than working at a place where he would get paid minimum wage. Achieving the American dream doesn’t necessarily always involve college or military, but achieving hard work, and being self-determined to do better
