In todays ever evolving tech savvy world social media is taking over. Social Media is apart of most people everyday life, from the time they wake up till the time they go to bed. We use Social Media not only to connect with people near and far, but also stay connected with things going on in the world. With all the glitz and glamour of Facebook, Twitter, and other Social Media sites comes a huge down side. Social Media provides a huge security risk to all of its uses. The history of Social Media is very brief, but it has come along way, the use of Social Media is ever growing, and the security risk is poses to those that use it. Zorana Ivcevic and Nalini Ambady conducted studies on Facebook Use as well as Facebook behavior. My generation and those younger then me LIVE on not only the internet, but Social Media. It gives people in my generation the ability to change who the are , and present a different persona to those they met while networking. Research on everyday social interactions shows that likability as measured by peer-rated popularity, sociometric nominations, and time spent interacting with others is related to both Extraversion and Agreeableness (Asendorpf, 1998; Jensen-Campbell et al., 2002; Paunonen, 2003).
