In other words, scientists and doctors believe that eating disorders are more of a mental illness because of the chemical changes in the person who is struggling with anorexia’s brain. In addition, doctors believe that it is a positive view that anorexia is triggered by epigenetic because they believe they can switch on the genetics that are being turned off in the process (Cresswell). However, there is no full guarantee that the treatment actually works because the doctors are still testing the theory. Doctors are also looking for a drug that targets certains genes to help treat anorexia (Cresswell). It is clearly obvious that their argument is invalid because all the doctors have are theories.The scientists and doctors are still experimenting on this theory, therefore there is no real evidence that their argument is true nor argumentative.

From the year 2006 to 2013 anorexia has risen substantially in teens (“Eating Disorders for Teen Girls Rising”). Without a proper resolution there is no guarantee that anorexia might come to an end or the number of cases will reduce. For the issue to resolved the media and magazines has to be willing to contribute to help by shutting down pro-ana websites, and stop using the words “overweight” that could discourage teens about their bodies. The media has too much power on influencing teens in today’s society, and without them contributing to help anorexia could keep increasing. Now it is completely understandable that it is going to be difficult to resolve the issue due to the fact that the law enforcers can’t just up and fire models. It will be a hassle for the models to find a job and the agencies to find new models. However, putting a weight restriction for models is a brilliant idea because teens wont feel self-conscious about their image or their body as much. All in all to resolve the issue society as a whole is going to have to contribute and take it one step at a
