This quote stated above is the representation of the role technology has implemented in this country. If you are to go into a public place for example a mall or a store you will find people staring deep in their hand at a phone that contains another world in it. Furthermore, this world contains social media and other sources that adolescents receive their news from. I have thought about this topic before watching this movie and still have the same view that the virtual world behind the phone screen has damaged society more than what others want to believe.
