Social Media Monitoring

The government should not have the right to control what we post on the internet. We should be allowed to have our privacy. I don’t think the government will benefit off of checking out social media. Schools should not be able to keep tabs to stop cyber bullying. Even though cyber bullying is a huge problem in this generation I don’t think schools should watch what we are saying. Our social media and personal life should not be monitored unless we are in trouble with the law over social media. For example if someone is harassing another person over social media I believe the police should be allowed to check what was being said. This can also help so it doesn’t happen again. People use social media to talk to family and friends around the world. I do not think anyone should be told to stop texting who they want to and what they want to unless it is a huge threat. I believe monitoring would stop most cyberbullying but it is also invading people personal privacy. There will be many protests if the government ever tried to monitor our social media, phone calls, and text messages. Most people do not want random people to watch our every move. I do not believe that there should be restrictions on saying what we want on social media. The government should definitely not be able to track our phones because people use apps for their money. I would not trust anyone else with an app with my credit card on it. I think that some of the apps we use besides just main social media sites could have some more restrictions on it. I think that comments on youtube videos should be easily allowed to delete by the person who posted the video. There can be very mean comments because youtube has no restrictions on what can be said. There are young kids on youtube because it is a place for kids to watch videos of their favorite tv shows and
