It was good because it let me open of eyes a little bit more. On a usual day the walk between class consist of me walking and checking my phone for new updates on twitter or Instagram, but the couple days I walked class to class without of phone was kind of nice. I noticed things around me that I usually never did. I walk past the library almost every day, but I never even noticed that they have my favorite flowers (marigolds) planted right by the pathway. It opened my eyes to how nice with campus really is, how the chapel it so pretty and how big the union is. It’s crazy how much you miss around you, when you’re on your phone. I was also surprised to see how many people were on their phones around me. Honestly it was close to 90% of the people. I saw groups of friends walking out of the union but they were all looking down at their phones. It was weird to see this because I know that’s exactly my friends and I look on a regular basses. I literally would grab my phone every couple of minutes, unlock my phone but then quickly out it back down because I knew I couldn’t go on social media or text. I was honestly ashamed at the amount of times I tried to go on social media. Like I knew I had stuff to do or even the fact that I was in the middle of doing something and I would just grab my phone to go online. I can
