Social media has shifted workplace perspectives, from the way companies are recruiting to how or why employees are fired, creating many challenging issues for companies. The use of social media sites in the workplace can cross a variety of ethical and compliance issues, including the misuse of company resources, decrease in employee productivity, conflict of interest, and the potential release of confidential company information.
