Edward Snowden, who was a private contractor for NSA, blew the whistle on what the NSA has been doing. He revealed that social media networks provide all your information without the person’s permission. Therefore, not anything you post on the Internet will never remain private.
Steve: I respect your opinion Jim; however, I still think social media has done more good than harm.
Jim: Can you please explain to me how.
Steve: It has made communication a lot easier for us all. We can send emails to people no matter how far away they are. Best of all, it only takes a few clicks and a matter of seconds compared to writing a letter and mailing it.
Jim : I do not disagree with anything you said. However, as I said before Steve, anything you post on the Internet is not private. Hence, your email is not private. It is actually one of the least secure methods of communication you can use. Removing an email from your inbox does not mean that it is gone from the Internet completely; there are still multiple copies out there.

Fine, let me tell you more about the bad side of social media. It has made people more anti-social. The more times we humans spend on social media websites, the less time we spend socializing with others. Therefore, this reduces our communication skills. Nowadays, companies hate fresh graduates for having unsatisfactory communication skills because they are so tied to social media for communication.
