Social Media Counter-Productive

Social media has been a huge factor in peoples lives nowadays but are our social media antics hindering our productivity in the workplace. We are becoming so fixed to our devices and social media that we are not concentrating at our workplaces and deadlines do not get met. Some of the points that I will be pointing out to you are why social media is counter-productive and what effects social media has on the workplace.

My first point that I am putting forward is why social media is counter productive, social media is counter-productive because it distracts people from there jobs that they need to finish before the end of the day. Here are some stats of what social media people use and how many people use it in the space of 60 seconds. 175,000 people tweet per minute, 700,000 message on Facebook are sent every minute and 2 million people watch YouTube every minute.
