Towards the Need for Appreciative Inquiry
No dislike button in predominantly social media. It was created within a premise that no disagreement as well as no critics for social media users, we just need to elaborate our friends’ link or status and explore our agreement. In particular, social media wants us to think positively. Bunz (2011), for instances, argued that social media without dislike button are designed to avoid the dialectic order of modern discourse and create an “affirmative discourse”.1

How we communicate with them?
To deal with this trend, I suggest appreciative communication approach as the loophole in order to communicate in the daily activity. Appreciative inquiry presuppose communication as beaker containing. We have to empty it before refill. In other word, it is necessary to give profusely space to talk for the interlocutors in order to release all of their thoughts. In turn when we speak, they could listen without murmuring themselves.
Appreciative approach gives the opportunity to communicate in the way of listening more and creating a dialogical-self. By listening more, the problems of organisation, community, classroom, even sectarian conflict could be easily solved. Direct critics can be conversed to be more reflective by listening to others stories. The required story is the most appreciated one which means a lot for the owner.
