The clarifications of lack of trust and confidence on most nurses and the implication to the healthcare sector has in no doubt contributed to already laid down rules and policies of the profession. The use of social media is very vital among nurses and student nurses as a veritable tool for assessing numerous documents for safe and professional practice among nurses and healthcare professional, however increasing danger of potential misuse is a dangerous. All healthcare providers should be properly informed that information sent online is sent to the public domain as such no private control by the sender, also such information could do more harm than good. As a nursing student, I would never disclose patient’s medical information to my family or friends. Respect patient’s right to privacy and dignity. Be patient’s advocate and report any form of misconduct to the management. It is my duty to protect patient’s vital information and make sure I receive patient’s consent before discussing medical problem to
