Living in the moment instead of constantly living on a device and viewing the world on a 4.7 inch screen. People were happier and you can see it on their non staged or correctly angled face picture, they were caught in the limelight of whatever event they were a part of. An event worthy of a picture and forever imprinted on a 4x6 glossy in the family photo album. I’m not saying technology doesn 't have a place in society. It provides many wonderful perks and tools we now use on a daily basis. What I am saying is that it should be moderated in order for todays youth to be kids and experience their world for what it is; and not be influenced by an array of unrealistic images or have unrealistic expectations what what “beautiful” is. When’s the last time you went a day without your smartphone, tablet, television, or any personal electronic device? You’d probably feel like an extension of you was missing, and what if you saw or did something really cool and couldn’t “post” about it? You would be forced to verbally interact and socialize like a real human being!
