Many teens see Facebook as a great way to socialize with their friends. Those for social media may say Facebook helps many teens socialize with their friends and stay connected to people around the world. They can communicate with their friends who had moved away and talk to them when schools are over. Teens can see their family members that they do not get to see often. They can see what their friends are posting online and comment on it. Facebook also allows teens who do not have friends to have friends online. I agree with their point that social media is a great way for teens to socialize with their friends and it also provides teens, communication tools to connect with their friends, long-distance family members; on the contrary, social media can disconnect teens from their real friends they had known their whole life, and see during lunch time. Teens spend a lot of their time talking to strangers instead of going outside and bonding with their friends in person. They are no longer going to their friends ' house to talk face-to-face and share laughter together. They are getting drawn to Facebook audience more than the people they have in their life. They are always on and talking to people they should not have been talking to. They are telling them their deepest secrets that they had never told anyone before, and sharing their personal information about their life. With social media people are not always what they seem, perpetrators will use someone else pictures to hide their identity. Parents are not monitoring their children to see who they are talking to all the time and if they are
