Social Medi Great-Fir Society

Social media in my opinion is great fir society. And this reason being social media is great for contacting friends and family from anywhere. There are many bad things in social media such as bully’s hacker’s hater’s etcetera but there are many more great things.

In my opinion social media is great but there are many flaws that we as great human beings can avoid. There are many great things in social media for example I agree with Martin baily “the pluses include easier contacts with friends and increases chances to make new friends and create a community.” I agree with this statement because in my opinion this is all true social media is great for staying connected with friends and family and also can make new friends, although many times those “friends” you find on the internet can be bad people that can get personal info from you and use it to their advantage and steal from you or even worse steal your identity. Nielson online reports that’s 70 million Facebook members by 23 million members the previous April – a 175 percent increase in per capita usage, this basically saying that we spend lots of our hours on Facebook, these statistics are showing we spend lots of hour time on Facebook but in my opinion these statistics are not accurate because they also have to count the people on Facebook that have to tab open but are not really on the computer. …show more content…
