In Chapter 4 the author talked about social and personality development in the preschool years and how viewing violence on TV matters. Aggression is intentionally injury or harm to another person. Infants don't act aggressively, it is hard to contend that their behavior is intended to hurt others, even if they inadvertently managed to do so (p.188). The case where young boy killed his friend because he watch wrestling on TV. The young boy didn't think it would hurt or even kill the kid that it did. Social learning approaches to aggression is learned by watching TV, video games, and/or violent movies. These kids are not sensitive to blood or death like they should be.
