Clearly describe your proposed creation
My proposal paper will center upon the message of hospitality, empathy and loving one’s neighbor as oneself. This, in disguise, is love for God and for the people of God. I will try my best to address how the world as a global village can become a peaceful place for God’s creation.
What resources/and materials do you plan to use?
I envision using poetry and art work of Carmanie Bhatti, who is a Master of Divinity student at Garrett- Evangelical Theological Seminary, IL. I also intend to ask two other Indian friends, Devanshi Sharma is a fashion designer and Bhargav Chauhan, is a professional photographer who will help me address my theme of social justice project.
What social justice issue or event inspired your proposed project?
I have made good friends with new people over meals. Since my arrival in the U.S, I have developed a habit of cooking meals for friends and also getting to know them. My hospitality for them has also included a huge portion of being an empathetic listener and listen to people’s stories.

This is one of the educational institutes that is a light to the world. While I was a student there, I had been involved in raising funds for the school project that provided education to the poor children in the city. Though it was a corporate social responsibility, I was often curious to learn about people’s stories, their sufferings, their cries as what they were going through and why they could not afford the education. As one from the same city that had a good home, both educated parents that did jobs, and servants to assist me at my home, I was ignorant of the grief that countless homeless, famished and poverty stricken people of all ages were going through, especially those that the school was raising funds for. I longed to know these people, hear them share their stories, pray for them and love them as
