The term social justice means "the defense of human dignity by ensuring that essential human needs are met and that essential human rights are protected for all people." Jesuits are called to promote social justice and fight for all humans who are treated unequally because God created each and everyone of us in his image. One of the issues that affects social justice is abortion. Abortion is the termination of human life in the womb. Abortion is an issue because of how people in the world view it.
