All in all, Social Isolation is widely used concept in the health care setting. It not only affects the patients we care for but also us a healthcare providers. As a healthcare provider we must be able to assess and pin point social isolation before it advance to the consequence stages which could impede the healing of the individual. Also we, as healthcare providers, must work past our very own social isolation. We must learn to put aside our very own feeling of anxity, depression, and seperation from our own loved ones to provide the very best care possible ot our patients.
