If a person were to choose peers as a large influence in their life, it is probably because they have a vigorous desire to fit in with their friends (Kemmet n.d.). According to my research, children are influenced by their parents because they are cognate to them and they are always around each other. They automatically trust their parents and relatives and feel like they have their best interests at heart. A family 's dynamic could additionally determine which influences them the most. A teenage girl in a single parent may home could be more heavily influenced by peers because she is not getting the attention at home. A person would probably choose school as a cumbersomely hefty influence because it furthers their academics. School is a large part of our daily lives, in both social and academic aspects. This would be the reason for an abundance of influence from school. But, our information shows that not one person had chosen school at all. The media influences teens because much of a modern teen’s leisure is spent

Some people would argue that mass media is the most important agent of socialization because television shows, movies, music, magazines, websites, and other aspects of the mass media influence our political views, our tastes in culture, our views on women, people of color, and homosexuals and many other beliefs and practices. Peer groups are withal another consequential agent of socialization because this is a way for people to learn about more things among a group of people in which they have a lot in prevalence. They learn more because they have more in common, and instead of getting exposed to things at home, children are exposed to the consequences of their choices through their peer groups.
