Boo Radley was thought of as a bad guy and by the end we we see that he 's actually not that bad. The towns folks were creeped out because of things they had heared. Even Jem, Dill and Scout make fun of him by creating a game about him. The kids wanted to know more about him and parents told them to keeps their distance, he was talked about as a creature rather than a human being who never went outside and that 's all he was known for. Judgement is also present in Calpurnias language, she talks one was around white folks and another around blacks. She talks like and educated person would when she 's around the Fintches a s their friends and family. However when she takes Jem and Scout to an African-American church they see another side of her, she talked they same way they do even though she knows she doesn 't want her friends to know that she knows better so she just talks like them. She also knows that people would just think that she 's trying to be a smart ass and knows that none of her friends would want to learn kphow to speak properly so she decides that her speaking differently is what would be best. There is inequality between the sexes, statues, and skin colours. Throughout the story Scout is constantly being told to "act like a girl" her aunt is brought in to teach Scout about womanhood and inforce femininity although Atticus is doing a perfectly fine job parenting and having Scout be who she wants to be. Also the entire jury is made up of men. We see how Boo Radley, Calpurnia and the Ewells staues do in fact make a difference in how they are seen. Blacks are at the bottom of each social standing.
