JCPenneys Social Group Analysis
Introduction
I going to be observing the 2nd floor associate at JCPenney Towne West. I 've worked there over 5 years and stared in the Home department and now am in Window. The observation took place in early March and it well consist of the following associates: Danna, Dena, Ciarra, Emily, Jon, and myself. The obviously, similarity we share is we are all employed in the same place, we have an egoism interactions, and intrinsic motivations towards each other. Since each person well help the others out if they ask for assists. It fun to be around that group, since it easy to talk and relate to each other. It can happen to a person consciously and unconsciously, whenever they step out of their home and even within it (Book 143). I was never told to pull over for an ambulance, but when I perceive the other cars around me stopping I did too. Not only did I do what I observed everyone else doing and adapting to it; I conditioned a response for myself to move to the right most lane regardless if an ambulance lights are on or not. Though, it is often a similar experience for the 2nd floor group. Windows tends to get busy, or slow; during times when it 's slow and other associates are around it sometimes easy to fall into unproductiveness. During one shift of my observation it was slow in Windows, so Jon and I both started talking. Danna, Dena, and Ciarra (those who didn 't have a register, so they working all parts of the second floor) came over along with Emily short after. It was a group of Danna, Dena, Ciarra, Jon, Emily, and I all engaging in unproductive behavior; standing around and talking. Though each of us have either an instrumental or androgynous personality; Emily, the exception, who is the most expressive. We were all taking about an album I didn 't like as much; she agreed with me, but once Jon, Danna, and Ciarra chimed in and said it wasn 't that bad. She changed her answer from 'it was bad ' to 'it had some moments '. I believe it due to the fact she only has school and work, so her social engagements are limit, which escalates the drive to fit in, since there are limit number of areas to do

After shuttering its catalog business and spending the last few years focused on driving sales via a multitude of promotions, sales, and featuring exclusive brands, longtime retail giant JC Penney has lost its competitive advantage and is in desperate need of transformation (Kinicki & Williams, 2013). Despite having 590 separate sales last year Penney’s was unable to drive sufficient sales traffic in their stores or over the internet (Kinicki & Williams, 2013). As a result, Penney’s same store year over year sales increased a meager 0.7%, whereas competitors like Macy’s achieved 5.4% growth during the same period (Kinicki & Williams, 2013). Moreover, Penney’s was forced to sell approximately 75% of its merchandise at a discount of 50% or…

One of my favorite retailers has to be Urban Outfitters. I definitely find myself making a lot of purchases through them whether it be home décor, clothes, cosmetics, or just small gifts for a friend. When someone mentions Urban Outfitters, I think “modern”, “cool”, “trustworthy”, and “accessible”. UO is not only an online retailer, but a brick-and-mortar as well. More recently, one way I feel that they are able to pull people in is with their new loyalty program.…

Boundary Violations The process of creating a true relationship requires setting boundaries. In order to avoid losing ourselves, or because we fear losing or upsetting our loved one, we often over commit to rigid boundaries or fail to have them at all. Which explains why some relationships are in a constant boundary dance that swings between doormat and narcissistic syndromes. The doormat is always accommodating, ever flexible and always nice.…

According to legal scholars, the minority communities, and racialized groups have certain specific legal concerns. These include damaged esteem, violence and increased risk of prosecution. As such, they have higher anxiety and stress levels, and might easily be depressed or have suicidal thoughts. The role that culture plays cannot be underscored, particularly when it comes to influencing legal behaviors of racialized groups (Phillips, 2015). Culture directly shapes how these groups communicate and seek help, and it also influences their coping mechanisms.…

All of my roommates and I sat down in the living room to watch the Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2017. As typical women, we observed and criticized every single model walking down the runway as if we were better than them in any way. We also laugh uncontrollably when one of them fell on stage, as if we could easily walk in six-inch heels with heavy wings on our back like it was a piece of cake. However, we all get upset if someone dares to criticize our image, because we all are so called “feminists” and support all female rights. Later on, one of my friends saw my Snapchat story and texted me: “Stop watching that show now.…

The friendship network of my dorm hall is contingent on who roomed with who, as well as what classes and extracurricular activities each individual chose to participate in. Attitudinal behaviors regarding any given individual’s study habits and alcohol consumption varied and affected relationships, but as a whole, students on my hall are friends with one another, although the types of these friendships vary case by case. Correlatively speaking, there is also an overall trend that those who study alone or in the dorm are those who do not condone alcohol consumption and going out. A prime example of this is Jordan and Xara, whom are roommates and friends, but due to their conflicting homework habits and interests, are often at odds with one…
