7- Eleven incorporation is an operator, franchisor and licensor of convenience stores. Originally an American company, it has expanded entering into the global market dominating the convenience store industry. 7- eleven as of 2016 January has 58,300 stores in 17 different countries and the first store to open in Australia was in 1977 in Melbourne. Although 7- Eleven is a major convenience store, from recent investigation from Fair Fax Ombudsmen and other stakeholders there has been many issues that have been raised involving the employment practices. These rising issues need to be addressed to provide individuals with equal and deserving standards.
The key influences that impact 7- 11 include social, ethic and Corporate social responsibility, legal and stakeholders. These influences impact either positively or negatively to the issues that are taking place in the stores

Social influences are the values and attitudes that are seen by people of the company . There are many immigrant workers working in 7- eleven

In 7-11 the legal framework of Australia employment is being breached by many of the stores due to the employees begin underpaid, up to less than 10 dollars which is considered slave. A joint investigation into 7-Eleven stores by Four Corners and Fairfax Media has found systemic underpayment of wages and the doctoring of payroll records within the country’s biggest convenience stores . 7-11 employers also are part of the half pay scam, where in the books the money that the employees are supposed to receive is written as a show but realistically they are only given half. Even though there are many illegal things, although some cases have been dealt with, many employees are still not been given the amount that is deserved and employers are not getting the punishment they deserve
